GIF to me means "Unity in diversity with a mission to develop a Global Indians and make them successful in the highly competitive world".

This mission bears a resemblance to the glorious Indian cricket team which I was fortunate enough to be part of a few decades back. Even though we come from different parts of the country with diverse cultures and linguistic differences we are all united together helping each other, learning from each other all the time and sharing our expertise to overcome the onslaught of the opposition teams and win. Though each player has a different talent, but their objective is to achieve the end result successfully. 'Team spirit' is the key to success and I wish that GIF through its diverse teams and activities helps build a stronger vibrant and competitive Indian who can face different challenges of the world and emerge winner.

Wishing the Global Indian Foundation success in all its ventures.

Global Indian Foundation completed 10 years since inception in 2012, which was marked by significant achievements of our students in various spheres.

In 2011, our cultural operations were streamlined under the aegis of Global Indian Foundation as a part of our focussed and strategic efforts to promote cultural education and inculcate value-based learning. Global Indian Cultural Centre (GICC) has been providing specialised training to students from competent and professionally qualified teachers in performing arts, sports, foreign languages, visual arts, and speech & drama.

GICC has spearheaded community involvement and social integration initiatives in Singapore through its popular Hatha Yoga programme, as well as participation in several activities and programmes organised by various Singapore-based cultural organisations.

GICC students have had the opportunity to perform in national-level competitions, as well as community events; further strengthening our outreach initiatives. Through such participation, GICC students are able to connect with other students and enjoy being a part of the growing Singapore community.
